Vectis RFC is a fast growing club, we are now one of the largest youth sports organisations on the Isle of Wight with over 330 members. This season we want to improve community engagement and improve communication.

Every other month there will be a general meeting, starting in August, these meetings will be an opportunity for the Vectis Community to get together and discuss club matters. As a minimum we are asking that all age groups send at least one representative to the meetings. This could be the manager, coaches, first aider or an interested parent. This is the opportunity for teams to put forward concerns, ask questions and raise issues.

The committee will provide updates and communicate important club information through this forum.

We will circulate the minutes and agenda in the future through the club website communications channel.

The club aims to use the website for the collation of key safeguarding data, membership information and membership payments from this season, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and have some support with the site at the inaugural meeting.

We are excited for the ongoing growth of Vectis this season and bringing the joy of rugby to as many island children as we can.

The first meeting will be at 1900 on Wednesday 19th August 2026 @ IWRFC Wootton Clubhouse.
