It was great to get back out playing matches on (fake.....) grass wasn't it!

The commitment from the players was first class - running straight out onto the pitch into a game is tough. But we did it.

2 new players on competitive debut - we hope that Bradley and Albie enjoyed themselves and that they are hungry for more.

Today was all about having some fun and Havant are always excellent hosts for us. Their players wouldn't have been so happy to volunteer to play for us if they didn't think we were brilliant!

I'm sure some players were a little disappointed with some of the results or missing a tackle here or there - but honestly that it what makes Vectis so great! Nobody will ever hold it against you because nobody can ever be 100% every minute of every game. Plus we all know that you'll do your very best next time out and that resilience and determination is what makes us such a fantastic squad to be part of.

Well done everyone, we're getting better and better every week. Watch out rugby, here we come!
