So much was done to make today a success. If you look at the list and didn't manage to get your name down for anything there - don't worry! There's still Saturday to help with!!!
Now the players! What a morning! Midhurst had a great time and are definitely looking to come back again. They were amazed that we managed to get so many players to turn out in rubbish conditions.
We've made a friend of a club there which is brilliant.
Well done every single player today. Honestly the progression is there for everybody to see - we have come so far, so fast. There were superb moments, passages of play and performances across the whole pitch and us coaches loved it - we are all very proud.
The whole squad are pulling together and the teamwork is excellent to see. Decision making and confidence will come - they are 9 and 10 years old - don't let them get down if they don't make exactly the right decision every time, they are a great bunch and it'll come ??
Fantastic to see one of our originals back today- yes Toby! Let's see you each week - you've been missed?
We do have players of the day to hand out and it was incredibly difficult. We'll hand out the medals on Wednesday.
They go to:
Frank for an incredible all-round performance in his team. Apparently someone even heard him speak.....
Jacob for great day but especially for trying to chop down a rampaging OEO single-handed
Oliver for an all-effort morning and for being in the right place at the right time so often.
Well done!!
Let's go again on Saturday!
Clear eyes.
Full hearts.
Can't lose.
